Question
Question
Adam Crozier
, On a recent visit to my local main post office, I found two counters staffed. One of these was for foreign currency only and the other counter was staffed by an employee who had a very prolonged chat with someone who was clearly a friend. ( the chat lasted more than 20 minutes).
With a queue numbering 20+ to whom should I complain or ask for an explanation as to why this was allowed to happen?
I would also query why you dont need to queue for foreign currency, yet you have to queue for everything else.
Much bad feeling, lots of mumbling from dissatisfied customers and all of this at a time when the Post Office really should be tryiing much harder.
In contrast I know of a small sub post office in the same town, where the service is both prompt and cheerful and guess what.....?........... it is being closed down!
I wonder when the penny will finally drop that the Post Office is NOT like Tesco or Sainsburys, it IS a business, so start running it like one.
