Integrate Yoosk into your site

Publishers: integrate Yoosk into your site

If you regularly publish stories or blog about politicians, sportspeople or celebrities, then why not add the Yoosk widget to your site? The Yoosk widget will:

• enable your readers to ask questions of public figures via Yoosk
• enable them to browse other Yoosk users’ questions and vote on the ones they want to see answered
• give them the chance to rate the interview performance of public figures

Here’s how it works:

Let’s say that you have a regular page dedicated to news or comment about particular public figures. It could be a news site, a blog, a fan site, the main site for a pressure group or any other web based media site that writes about or reports on people in the news.

Simply embed the Yoosk widget onto your pages using the code below and your readers will be able to click straight through to that person’s page and ask them questions, see other questions and rate the person concerned-then come straight back to your site.

In return for placing the widget on your site, you are welcome to publish, free of charge, any of the answers that public figures give to Yoosk member’s questions.

The Yoosk widget is similar to social bookmarking sites’ widgets (such as Digg and Delicious) but with a big difference: it enables your readers to engage with the news article or post they have just read in a new and interesting way-by asking their own follow up questions and rating the person they have just read about.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with us via our contact pages.

What is Yoosk?
Yoosk is a news interplay magazine and community where you, the members are the reporters. Put your questions directly to politicians and celebrities and watch those questions gain support as other Yoosk members vote for them. Our pledge to you is that any question which reaches 100 votes will be submitted by us to the person involved and we will do our best to get an answer. You can comment on the answers, submit follow-up questions and rate each public figure’s performance on their personal page. And you can do much more…have a look round, join the site, and become part of the future of reporting!!
